My name is Jostein. I’m currently 24 years old and I live in Guildford, UK. I’m currently a translation student and a freelance translator/subtitler.

So, what is the story behind Joshiwo.net? Well, I’m a gamer. I love games, and a few years ago I fell in love with a first-person shooter game. This game is known as Counter-Strike. After months of random nicks, I figured I needed a nick I could identify with, and a friend said ‘Joshi Woshi’. You see, I’m part Japanese. I put those two together, removed the last shi, and got Joshiwo. And that’s the insanely boring story about the name.

I love stuff like punk music, games, horror movies ‘n stuff, so I guess that’ll be the topics for this blog.
